This public exhibition showcasing the work of Coles County Arts Council member artists was held in the main floor galleries of the Link Art Gallery in Paris, Illinois. An Opening Reception with light refreshments was held Friday, September 3, 2021, from 5:00 – 6:30 pm.

Members of the local memoir-writing group, Past-Forward, will celebrate the launch of their second book in early November (More details coming soon.). The writing group based in Charleston, Illinois, is sponsored by the Coles County Arts Council, and writes about a number of topic in its upcoming anthology including: growing up in a small town, love and disappointment, living with cancer, taking chances, finding peace, immigrating to America, and a murder/hanging on a very dark day in Charleston’s history.
