Coles County Arts Council

This public exhibition showcasing the work of Coles County Arts Council member artists was held in the main floor galleries of the Link Art Gallery in Paris, Illinois. An Opening Reception with light refreshments was held Friday, September 3, 2021, from 5:00 – 6:30 pm.
Originally formed in 2008, the Past-Forward Memoir Writing Group welcomes and supports all who are interested in writing their stories and seeking encouragement to put pen to paper.
There are two groups of Past-Forward that meet once a month. The day group meets at 1 p.m. on the last Friday of the month at the Charleston Carnegie Public Library. The evening group meets at 6 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month at Wesley United Methodist Church.
Throughout the years, members of the Past-Forward have collaborated to create three books: Occasional Writers: Bringing the Past Forward (2011), The Memory Pool: Reflections of Past Forward (2014), and For the Record (2021). All of these books are available on Amazon.
