Coles County Arts Council from September 3 – October 1, 2021

This public exhibition showcasing the work of CCAC member artists will be held in the main floor
galleries of the Link Art Gallery in Paris, Illinois. This historic building is located one block south of
the city square in the heart of Paris at 132 South Central Avenue.
Opening Reception with light refreshments will be held Friday, September 3, 2021, from 5:00 – 6:30 pm.
Eligibility
Artists: Must be CCAC member (18 years of age or older) with current paid 2021 CCAC membership.
Acceptable Media: 2-D and 3-D work including drawings, paintings, prints, photography, ceramics, metals, sculpture, jewelry, fibers, mixed media, glass, original crafts.
Number of Entries per Artist: Four (4) maximum created within the last four years (2017-2021).
Requirements: All work must be original and safe to handle, install & view (no sharp edges, hazardous materials, wet paint or materials).
**Each entry must be the work of the person in whose name it is submitted.
**Artwork to be wall mounted must be suitably wired with hanging wire attached to back of frame (universal clips and sawtooth hangers will not be accepted).
**No items may be nailed or taped to the walls.
** All work on exhibit shall remain for the entire exhibit through October 1 at 4pm.
Sale of Art Work
A 25% donation for any art sold during the show will be given to the Link Gallery. Artists are responsible for sales tax and should consider adding that amount to the sale price.
Insurance: For insurance purposes, please fill out the Exhibition Form and include a value, even if
the Art is not for sale.
Gallery Space: Is limited space and may limit size or number of entries.
Entry Fee: None.

August 24 - 27 (10:00am - 4:00pm) – Deliver art work to Link Art Gallery. Be sure that an ID Tag is
attached to back of each entry.
September 3 (5:00pm - 6:30pm) - Opening Reception with light refreshments. Meet the artists.
October 2, 3, 5-8 – Artists pick up artwork at Link Art Gallery.
Oct. 2 (Sat.) 10am – 12noon
Oct. 3 (Sun.) 1pm – 3pm
Oct 5-8 (Tue.-Fri.) 10am – 4pm
